The first day of school is August 30.  School will open at 7:10 for students.  Homeroom begins at 7:17.  The 6th Grade Open House is August 24 at 7:00 p.m.  The 7/8th Grade Open House is September 7 at 7:00 p.m.  Redding's Summer Reading book is titled, Small Steps by Louis Sachar.  Small Steps must be read by all students prior to the first day of school.
